Canada Pharmacy

You'll notice that one of our newest sponsors is Canada Pharmacy. I just wanted to mention that I've been doing business with Canada Pharmacy myself, ever since Armour thyroid became hard to get here in the States. They've been great; helpful, professional, and even expedited a shipment for me when I had to go out of town and was about to run out of thyroid. I'm very happy with Canada Pharmacy's service, and will continue to get my thyroid medication through them.

Armour Thyroid

Hi, Dana! I have tried to change from synthroid to Armour for years. My doctor finally gave me a combo prescription of cytomel and synthroid, which helped my symptoms, but I'd still like to try Armour. I've been reading Mary Shomon's research on About.com-- I just went to Canada Pharmacy online and did a search for Armour--but they don't seem to have it. Are you still getting it there? And did you have any reaction to the "reformulation" that occurred a year ago? People complained of odors and doses not working for them, etc. I'd be interested in hearing your take on the subject. Thanks!

Armour Thyroid

I did get a 90 day supply from a compounding pharmacy but went on vacation and forget to take it for 3 or 4 days, I thought that was why my TSH went up. I'm back on the Armour from the pharmacy and TSH has been back to normal. I was not aware that it was reformulated. I tried getting it from Canada Pharmacy and couldn't find it either. One of the Canadian Pharmacies told me they got it from the same place as the US pharmacies did-Forest Pharmaceuticals and at that time (8 or 9 months ago) Forest was not releasing any to anyone. I've not noticed any different odor (it always had an odor) and I do keep it in the frig. My pharmacy can only get 30mg and 60mg. tablets.

Canada Drugs

My folks got their drugs from Canada Drugs for years. We plan to do the same as soon as we start Medicare.
