Just when I thought nothing could be worse than KFC's "Famous Bowls" (bowls of mashed potatoes with every other gloppy, carb-y thing they serve piled on top), Domino's invents --
Bread Bowl Pasta. That's right, pasta served in a bowl made of bread. White flour served on white flour! Mmmmm.
They want $5.99 for this. I'm guessing that it contains roughly 15c worth of flour, plus, of course, some cheap nasty shortening, and oh, a teeny bit of animal protein and/or a smidgen of vegetables in the sauce if you choose the right variety.
Italian-oid places, in particular, are big on being "generous" by piling on the carbs. Free "crazy bread!" All you can eat bread sticks! Please, fill yourself up on nutrition-free glop so you won't notice how little protein you're actually getting.
I trust I don't have to tell you to steer clear?
Access denied
I am having the same problem - I have your blog showing as a feed on my google homepage and when I click on the feed header to go to the main page of your blog, I got the message "access denied". However, when I clicked on an individual blog post title, I was able to see it (and log in).
If I go over to the right under "recent blog posts" and click more, I also get the message "access denied".
That's odd
I'll be darned, you're right. I logged out myself, and *nothing* would show. I can't imagine what got tripped up in there. I went in and set permissions so that anyone (even non-registered visitors) can see all blogs and now it looks like it's working. No wonder we've had about a gazillion signups in the past couple days, if people need to be logged in just to read the site! Strange. Oh well, it's about time for me to upgrade this thing to the newer version of the CMS anyway.
Not authorized
Thanks for looking into it. I finally did get in yesterday, but that was after logging in, which required resetting my password because it had been so long that I'd forgotten it! Now it looks like I'm permanently logged in, which is FINE!!

Not authorized to view??
Just concerned here...each time I've tried to access the blog in the last few days I've received an error message that I'm not authorized to access this page (or the equivalent). Everything OK? Temporary glitch I hope??

Not sure
Not sure what would the problem would be. I had the signup set to admin-approval for a while (to slow down the spammers), but I opened that back up last week, and anyway you've been a subscriber for a year. No known problems, but I guess I should probably watch the site a bit more closely to see when these things happen. Sorry!
latest nonsense.....

RE: KFC name
The company changed the name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC to blur the reference to the word fried which implied FAT.
The did not make their product less fat, just re-branded it so it was more generic and less blatantly FAT.

Famous bowls famus for what
When I first saw these at KFC (why can't they at least use the name their founder gave them) I was really set back. I had to read that several times. For one thing, it is like they have something that is famous, but didn't exist before. Then it is like, this is all you actually get. Basically they took a bad version of a "loaded baked potato" and invented "loaded mashed potatoes".
Claiming that they are famous is quite a stretch. Maybe even false advertising.
