Resolutions and Goals
Happy New Year, Gang! Time for Resolutions and Goals! Don't snicker; I actually kept one of my resolutions from last New Year -- I developed the Daytimer habit, and have become a better organized human being as a result. (I have a PDA, but frankly find a paper and pencil easier.) I am slimmer and in better shape than I was a year ago, too, and intend to continue in that direction.
One of my goals for this year is to pick up a dropped project for a diabetic cookbook/website. It's time.
Another is to get the work room/junk room finished and turned into a home gym, so I can use all of my various workout equipment. (I'm the Queen of used exercise equipment; I want to use my Total Gym!) I had a home gym in the finished room in the attic, and the work room/junk room was That Nice Boy I Married's office, but it's cold in the winter -- it's an ex-attached garage, with a cement slab floor and no insulation. So TNBIM took over the attic, and I was left without a gym.
How about you? What are your resolutions and goals? Share 'em!
And may 2010 be better than 2009.

I would like either or both. I can use all the help I can get.
No formal resolutions, just to try harder to stick to what's working. In my case, an adaptation of a notion I came across on Dr. Eades' blog, which I found in your links. He talked about intermitent fasting. I couldn't do 24 hrs, especially since I have to cook for my thin husband. Someone mentioned leaving a gap of 15 hrs between ending eating on one day and starting eating again the next day. When I tried that, my long time plateau disappeared, along with about 12 lbs. However, all the holiday feasting and partying has put 3 lbs back on, and I am still not back on track.
Resolutions and goals..
My goal is to get back on track with my low carb eating habits (and do it the right way). I feel lousy when I'm not on it.
I also want and need to start exercising..
Low Carb has me spoiled - lose weight w/o exercising? (seems to good to be true- but it works!).
Want family and friends to be healthy too, had a rough 2009.
Happy New Year everyone.. thank you again Dana for your website, cookbooks, and infinite wisdom!
Infinite Wisdom?
Boy, do I have you fooled. ;-D
found new no-sugar-added product
happy new year to you, your family, your HTT family, and friends!
I found a new product yesterday at the store... it's the Skinny Cow no-sugar-added icecream sandwich. not bad, ice cream good, cookie a bit powdery... but, nonetheless, an acceptable treat. here's the link if anyone wants more info...
